we got back from the doctor, and blogger is now cooperating...
alex is 8 lbs 3 oz and 20.5". she has gained 2.25 lbs since we took her home from the hospital! the doctor said she was a good baby, and obviously a good eater!
he said her getting up 2 - 3 hours is normal, even though he knows it sucks, but that we will be more scheduled in another month or two, so to hang in there.

You are obviously doing a great mommy job. There is so much satisfaction in seeing them grow. Of course, these days, nothing makes me feel better than a succesful suction of snot using the nasal aspirator. Must be a mommy thing.

But now I am nauseated by the memory of the snot sucker. A handy-dandy little device but not my favorite memory.

Great news! About her weight and it getting better.
I found that I could handle the waking up every couple of hours so long as they went back to sleep after the feeding. It was the refusal to go back that is the pain.
